Bunnie Xo has opened up about the decision to delete one of the most-watched episodes of her Dumb Blonde podcast, saying she no longer wanted one of the most painful periods of her life to remain permanently tied to her public identity.
Speaking on a new episode of her podcast released this week, the media personality explained that although she believes in being transparent with her audience, sharing intimate details about her divorce from country star Jelly Roll ultimately had unintended consequences.

Walking Away From a Six-Figure Episode
Bunnie revealed that the now-deleted episode generated approximately $100,000 in revenue and became one of the biggest-performing releases on her channel. Even so, she said financial success was never enough reason to leave it online.
According to Bunnie, keeping the episode available would likely have generated even more income, but she chose to remove it because she did not want one of the hardest experiences of her life to become a defining chapter of her public image. She also said she does not want to be remembered primarily for her divorce.
Reflecting on a Difficult Year
Addressing criticism that she appeared to move on quickly after the separation, Bunnie said the emotional process had begun long before the divorce became public.
She explained that she had been grieving the end of the marriage for about a year and described the months surrounding the breakup as emotionally overwhelming. During that period, she said she experienced intense distress, significant weight loss and periods where friends stepped in to support her health.
Bunnie also said there are many aspects of the breakup that she has chosen not to discuss publicly and does not expect to reveal in the future.
Divorce Followed Nearly a Decade Together
News of the couple’s split emerged after Jelly Roll filed for divorce in Williamson County, Tennessee, in May, ending a marriage that had lasted nearly 10 years. Both have since indicated they remain on respectful terms despite the separation.
In recent weeks, Bunnie attracted attention after being photographed kissing reality television personality Dylan Wolf at Jelly Roll’s Nashville bar during Fourth of July celebrations. She later said Jelly Roll understood the situation and had no issue with the interaction.

Bunnie said removing the podcast was ultimately about reclaiming control over her personal story rather than protecting her reputation. While she remains committed to being honest with listeners, she believes not every difficult chapter needs to stay online indefinitely.
Her comments highlight the challenges many public figures face when balancing openness with personal healing, particularly when deeply personal experiences generate widespread attention and significant financial returns.
