Apple Martin is making the transition from fashion campaigns to the big screen.
The 22-year-old, who recently graduated from Vanderbilt University, was photographed filming scenes in Los Angeles for Nancy Meyers’ upcoming feature Paris Paramount. Although details about her character have not been revealed, the project marks Martin’s first significant film role and introduces her to one of Hollywood’s most anticipated ensemble productions.

A Cast Filled With Award-Winning Talent
Martin joins an experienced ensemble that also includes Penélope Cruz, Jude Law, Kieran Culkin and Beverly D’Angelo. The film is directed by Nancy Meyers, whose return to feature filmmaking has attracted considerable attention after more than a decade away from the director’s chair.
While the production has remained largely secretive, Meyers previously described the story as one centered on filmmaking itself, calling it a look at “the magic and mystery” behind making movies. The project was previously known under the title Paris Paramount.
A Hollywood Connection Comes Full Circle
Martin’s first film also carries an interesting family connection.
One of her co-stars, Owen Wilson, appeared opposite her mother, Gwyneth Paltrow, in Wes Anderson’s The Royal Tenenbaums, released in 2001. Paltrow also dated Owen Wilson’s brother, Luke Wilson, after the film’s production, creating another link between the families as Martin begins her own acting career.
Building a Career Beyond Fashion
Although this is Martin’s first major acting project, she has already established herself in the fashion industry.
Earlier this year, she fronted Chloé’s summer campaign and has worked with other well-known fashion brands, expanding her profile beyond being the daughter of two internationally recognized entertainers. She also made a brief appearance in HBO’s Rooster, offering an early glimpse of her interest in acting before landing her feature film debut.
Martin’s parents, Academy Award-winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, have largely kept their children out of the spotlight while supporting their individual ambitions as adults.
